Riverside Golf Course

Nine-hole regulation length golf course with clubhouse on the banks of scenic Pennington Creek offering a short layout that rewards good shots and provides a fun outing for golfers of all ages. It is a daily fee golf course with an ‘Open To The Public’ guest policy. The course hosts several popular tournaments each year, including the Pennington Creek Bash, the Chickasaw Festival Tournament and the MSC President’s Tournament.
Swimming at Old City Dam
North Ward Avenue, Tishomingo, OK
Tishomingo’s long-time favorite swimming hole on Pennington Creek, located at the old water works on the north side of town. Granite staircase waterfalls, swimming area has shallow to deep water, sandy beach, granite boulders. No swimming above the dam or jumping off pump house. No alcohol or glass bottles. No lifeguard on duty. Beware of slippery steps, underwater rocks. Please keep our beaches clean by taking out all trash.
Skate Park

Tishomingo Wildlife Refuge

This winding trail is ¾ mile long and takes you through the woods in the Tishomingo Wildlife Refuge. If you're just getting started on your fitness journey, you can take the Left Fork for a 1/4 mile -- handicapped accessible, too!
Enjoy nature, get fit and bring your camera cause you never know what wildlife or beautiful flowers you might come across!

The football field track is open to the public seven days a week, all hours. The only exclusion is when a school function is taking place.
Four laps around an official track is equivalent to one mile.

Stevy’s Run -- 1 mile -- 5K -- 10K
Tishomingo, OK
Named 2018 Best Run in Chickasaw Country! It's held the first Saturday of July unless it interferes with the 4th of July, then the run/walk will be held the following Saturday. Proceeds go towards Stevy’s Closet at Children’s Hospital and the United Methodist Women’s Backpack Program. It’s a certified course timed by DG Productions.

Firefly 5k and 1 mile fun run

Held the last Friday in April. This is a timed run using DG Race Productions. This annual Firefly night run is to raise awareness for childhood obesity. This generation of children’s life expectancy is shorter than their parents. Since this is a night run we encourage all participants to GLOW! You can wear glow bracelets, necklaces, glow paint, glow t-shirts, etc.

Alfalfa Bill Bicycle Ride

This bicycle ride has been in existence since 1986. We offer the chance to participate in a 10 mile, 20 mile, 30 mile, 46 mile and 100 mile bicycle ride seeing the beautiful sights of Johnston County. Pennington Creek Regatta
