Pennington Creek Park
South Capitol Street Tishomingo, OK
A beautiful 15-acre park located on Pennington Creek and within walking distance of downtown Tishomingo. Playground equipment and splash pad water park for children, gazebo and pavilions for picnicking; “fitness” trail and a recently added disc golf course, fishing, overnight camping, full RV hook-ups, dump station,

Blue River Public Hunting & Fishing Area
Nine Miles Northeast of Tishomingo, OK
Known as one of the most scenic locations in the area. Managed by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, the Fishing and Hunting Area covers over 3,000 acres and includes access to 6.25 miles of the picturesque Blue River – a spring-fed river well-known for its series of small waterfalls and the stocking of almost 100,000 rainbow trout when in season. Other fishing opportunities exist for black bass, crappie, as well as channel and blue catfish. Camping, swimming, and kayaking permitted in the Blue River Campground area.
Valid Oklahoma resident or non-resident hunting, fishing license or conservation passport required of all persons entering or using the Blue River area, unless exempt.
